Privacy Policy

Not Now, Andrew (“NotNow”) by Torabit · Effective October 5, 2026

In short: NotNow collects no personal data. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Everything it needs stays on your device.

What NotNow does

NotNow runs a repeating cycle of screen time and breaks on an iPhone or iPad. During breaks it locks apps using Apple's Screen Time framework (Family Controls, Managed Settings and Device Activity), then unlocks them when the break is over.

Information we collect

We do not collect, store on our servers, sell or share any personal information. NotNow does not connect to any server run by us, and it contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking code.

Information stored only on your device

To work, NotNow keeps the following on the device where it is installed. It never leaves the device and is deleted when you delete the app.

Screen Time data

App usage, timing and locking are handled by iOS through Apple's Screen Time framework. Apple does not give NotNow your child's browsing or app usage history, and NotNow does not send any Screen Time information anywhere. Apple's handling of this data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.

Purchases

The free trial and the one-time unlock are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, Apple Account or payment details. The app only checks with the App Store, on your device, whether the trial or the unlock is active. Family Sharing and Ask to Buy are handled by Apple.

Notifications, Siri and Shortcuts

Reminders (for example, “1 minute left”) are local notifications created on your device. Siri, Shortcuts and Control Center actions are handled by iOS on your device.

Children's privacy

NotNow is designed for parents to manage screen time on a child's device. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13, and it has no way for a child to share information with us or with others.

Data retention and deletion

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. To remove everything NotNow stored on a device, delete the app. On a child's device, a parent can first remove NotNow's access in Settings › Screen Time.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. If NotNow ever begins collecting any data, we will say so here before that change ships.
